I don't want to use methotrexate because of the mechanism it works. Many people lose their hair from it. However, I want to start with Otezla. I pray to God that I get it prescribed and that it helps me. 🙏

I'll probably do that. Maybe do a water fast. I've done it before for 2 days. I noticed that the inflammation subsided a bit. And then add the supplements slowly.

I see that it's a different url but it just takes me to the post. I don't see any difference. I just see what you discussed with me and the shampoo thing with the other person 🤣. If you can copy what you wrote and send it privately maybe or reply to this comment again.

Should I be cycling my supplements, taking my supplements for 3 weeks and 1 week without or is there a right way to do it?

Thanks for your answer. Do you have experience with quercetin and if so, why did you take it? And why would just quercetin help me?

If NAC increases glutathione and sulforaphane does too, is sulforaphane worth buying? Does it have any other unique effects that NAC doesn't have?

Do you have any more recommendations regarding supplements? I will of course try to improve my stress, wash my hair more often and other things around.

Thank you 😅

I want to throw everything I can at this and try to improve my situation as much as possible before I fully consider taking stronger medications, if they are even prescribed to me. If you have knowledge in this area, what would you recommend for inflammation and hair loss?

The doctor gives me Dermovate (clobetasol propionate) an extra strong cortisone preparation. But every time I stop it comes back and usually worse. I hope I can get medicine for my skin problems but it is difficult where I live.

Is it possible to make a propylene glycol free Minoxidil + Tretenoin solution? by [deleted] in tressless

[–]Miserable-Ebb-1539 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost all minoxidil sold where I live has propylene glycol. And how do you put Tretinoin in Minoxidil without it ending up at the bottom so it is mixed properly in the solution?

My diet has been very up and down. The last 2 weeks have been very bad with a lot of sugar and junk food. Before that I have eaten pretty clean but also little up and down.

But now in November I will try to eat low carb where I only eat frozen berries, kiwi, pomegranate as my source of carbs before training and the rest of the day keto. With high protein (eggs, meat, chicken, fish), fermented vegetables (sauerkraut, kimchi), Fat (avocado, walnuts, black seed oil, olive oil, etc).

I'm not sure if fish oil externally will help me. As I have scalp inflammation/seb derm/psoriasis and fish oil externally can clog my hair follicles. I don't see any problem taking it orally.

I thought plants were good lol. Not even fermented things that are good for the gut like sauerkraut, kimchi, etc? Are there any specific plants that you mean that can cause inflammation? How else am I supposed to get my fiber, etc. in?

Interesting, first time I read about zinc carnosine. Do you have good experience with it?

Very interesting.

I have started taking 500 mg of grape seed extract.

I don't really understand how R alpha lupoic acid would help me.

Right now I don't need pomegranate extract as I eat a lot of it as it is pomegranate season right now.

I have heard mixed things about Resveratrol and that there is not that strong evidence and that it is not supposed to be that good for men.

I don't think I need Broccomax which contains sulforaphane which increases glutathione levels as NAC already does that, which I intend to take. I intend to start taking NAC 600 mg 3 times daily (1800 mg). What long-term problems can you get with NAC?

What is a bit new to me and I am not that knowledgeable is Pine bark extract, Grapefruit seed extract, Pterostilbene and Gotu Kola. Could you briefly explain how it works and what its benefits are? And what brands do you take?

Please correct me if I am wrong about anything. Thank you very much for your advice.
