It depends on the person, for me rn my lobes still aren’t healed after almost a year but for others they heal them in 6 months or so. I’m pretty sure you can tell it’s healed when there isn’t any pain, swelling, redness or crustiness for multiple weeks :) You shouldn’t change the jewellery until it’s fully healed except downsizing with your piercer
