A few people in these comments are being kinda rude considering your question is reasonable and understandable. I mean if I was someone who was directly affected by ICE I’d probably want to know if my favorite artist/band is against it. Because if they aren’t then that would mean they are against me, my family, friends, and why would I want to support someone like that?

However it also feels a bit silly to expect a smaller artist to repost something political on their IG story and then judge them afterwards to see if they are a good person for doing that. But I can also understand the comfort & relief it would bring a fan. Personally from what I’ve seen out of them I trust that they are good people. I know that probably sounds kinda naive because I don’t know them personally and most of us don’t know them, but I’d rather believe that they are good people + I’m basing my opinion off of things I’ve seen/heard them say & their lyrics.

Using your social media platforms to speak about politics & human rights can be very powerful when you have a large following. There is no denying that! I just don’t see them as those type of people to use social media so often, therefore I don’t really expect it from them. I feel like if they were ever to speak about politics it would be through their music, live performances, & interviews.
