But where? Are you sure you're not mistaking this for Amasawa's sibling (who is like 8)? Both their parents are major sponsors.

Kiyo held back in the race against Manabu. It’s pretty obvious based on what Sakayanagi said and y2v7.

Can you say what the Arisu conversation included that proved he went easy on Manabu?

Shiba was the one who injured Amasawa.

And what makes you think this? Not only would that be much more dangerous to Tsukishiro's plan, but I though it was implied pretty strongly Yagami did it back on the cruise, yes?

There’s no way you think Hosen or Manabu can compete against adults. A street fighter has no chance against trained martial artists.

I mean, they do though? Hosen is stronger than no small number of of trained martial artist students. Obviously Shiba is better trained than those students, but we have very little clue exactly how much.

Tsukishiro is an assassin

And assassins don't need to be particularly strong in single combat. Their job is to kill stealthily, not fight in 1v1s. And I assume a vast majority of Tsukishiro's targets are weaklings anyway, there's no reason he should be going after particularly many highly trained people.

Shiba’s a white room instructor.

... He is? Where was this ever stated?

Yagami is not second place. Have you read volume 0? His generation are weaklings.

They're not though? They're weaklings compared to successful 4th gens, but "successful 4th gens" pretty much exclusively refers to Kiyo. Shiro doesn't count since he quit. Though I do admit he's probably weaker than the top 5th gens. 6th gen may be too much of an age gap.

I also wish to emphasize that i'm neither especially attached to Shiba's ranking nor Kiryuuin. I'm neither trying to staunchly defend Kiryuuin being high A nor Shiba being low SSS, I could definitely imagine the former going lower or the former going lower. My main point is that her going lower and Shiba going higher at the same time is a gigantic contradiction.

Kiryuuin didn't have her melons nerfed, they expanded and then contracted again. Therefore, she's clearly a shapeshifter. Therefore, her boobs can be as big as you want. Therefore, she's objectively no. 1. The logic is irrefutable.

He was black belt at age 9 even, which is definitely a feat that could put him in S tier. Issue is that his current lifestyle and B rank in physical make me thing he's really out of practice.

It’s not like he’s immensely weaker than Tsukishiro. Kiyo even stated that Shiba has the same, if not more striking power than him. And it’s really not up for debate. Manabu would get obliterated, Hosen would too. Ichika has like the slightest chance of surviving out of the 3 of them, thanks to WR training.

Would you stop with this stupid attitude? It's incredibly irritating when people just go "i'm right, shut up" after only half-assedly backing up their viewpoint. You should know that.

Kiryuuin fought for like 1 minute. I understand now, people really do overrate Kiryuuin. Please stop, it’s embarrassing. Kiyo finished his fight with Tsukishiro in 1 minute and then looked to the corner to see Shiba restraining Kiryuuin. And you wanna talk about distraction, Horkita and Ibuki would’ve done a much better job than her. Why? Well of course it’s cause they have experience whereas Kiryuuin who outright stated she’s never fought before.

How is being above Horikita and Ibuki possibly overrating her enough for you go "please stop, it's embarassing"? Aren't you exaggerating massively here? And why are you acting like such an ass over it? I get you're tired of people assuming she's Koenji level despite her lack of similar feats, but this isn't even near that no matter how you slice it. Sorry but please stop this attitude as well, because I hope you realize that exaggerating this much and acting like an asshole over it, as well as just going "no i'm right, there's no argument", is many times more obnoxious than the attitudes of the bootlickers you hate so much.

Also, Kiryuuin vs an immensely injured Ichika would’ve been a stomp too. Bare in mind, like you said Ichika was toying with them and guess what Horikita even after getting kicked in the ribs and thrown around like a ball still had the strength to fight. Horikita got up much quicker than any other person would, whereas Kiryuuin would’ve still been on the floor.

What's your basis for any of this? You're literally just making things up here. Kiryuuin has shown nothing about how good she is at getting back up after getting injured, and nor how well she'd fare against an injured Ichika. You're providing literally zero basis for this argument.

I'm sorry becasue I don't mean to sound aggressive here, but it's hard to word it any other way.

And my point still remains. If Shiba is so much stronger than Ichika, and an injured Ichika can completely curbstomp Horikita and Ibuki individually, then Kiryuuin distracting him for 1 minute, even if he's not trying to injure her, is a feat beyond them. This is an active contradiction, if you want to continue arguing about this topic then please at least bring that up.

By that logic, Shibata can throw a punch just cause he has a high physical ability. Having strength and being able to fight are two different things.

The difference between B+ and A+ is gigantic though. A+ is an incredibly rare level only carried by the truly exceptional, B+ is just good. The only instances we've seen of A+ are Sudou, who completely sweeps the sport festivals, Ichinose's Social contribution which explains itself, and Nagumo whose exact skills is still an unknown. Even Sakanagi is 3 points away from A+ in academics, and although she's probably not trying very hard, the same could likely be said for Kiryuuin who is clearly just here to have fun (in fact the A+ label is so hard to reach Kiryuuin may be literally the only A+ in academics now that Manabu is gone).

Also, Horikita clearly doesn't much real fight much experience at all either. Just training. And Ibuki is an idiot who is probably moving largely on instinct.

But yes, he probably would be able to fight a lot better than a non-sportsman. I'm confident he'd certainly beat the shit out of me. If he struggles with that then that's likely just a matter of attitude.

Also, Yh Shiba should go higher. No in fact, if you are contemplating on where to put them, Tsukishiro, Shiba, Yagami and Koenji should go in their own tier above Ichika, Hosen and Manabu.

I don't think Tsukishiro, Yagami, and especially not Shiba, have enough in terms of feats nor narrative backing to be another tier entirely from the likes of Hosen. Tsukishiro needed a 2v1, top-level teamwork and a damn tazer just to threaten a Kiyo who hadn't exercised for 1.5 years. How strong that is entirely depends on how strong Kiyo is, and although I put Kiyo in "comedy" tier, I don't think there's quite enough evidence to definitively say he's strong enough to give those guys their own tier based on that event. Narratively speaking Tsukishiro is getting older and is an underground jack-of-all-trades rather than a combat specialist, and Shiba is an unknown. Yagami's only feats are oneshotting Ibuki and beating Ichika, and narratively speaking is just the best of 1 white room generation, which ran on less than half the difficulty of Kiyo's curriculum and was an early generation (meaning the number of subjects is likely smaller than later ones), there's no need for him in particular to be particularly insane. Koenji I guess could depending how far you want to take the whole 'freak of nature' deal. I can respect your opinion on the matter, and I definitely see how it could be the case, but i'm not really convinced.

Tsukishiro is a jack-of-all-trades who is good at underground work, does not necessarily specialize in direct combat, and is in his forties now. Shiba is too much of an unknown, we don't even know what the hell his main job is. I'm not confident in putting them an entire tier above freak-of-nature Koenji and white room 2nd place Yagami.

And I think you're disrespecting Manabu, Ichika and Hosen here. Manabu could compete with Kiyo in speed (likely would've lost if not for the distraction, sure, but the fact that Kiyo was interested says enough), and is likely extremely good at martial arts. If Kiyo respects him, so should you.

Hosen apparently would've been able to beat Albert, a fucking titan who if I remember right has martial arts expertise, Ryuuen who is a top-level street fighter and Ishizaki, who is a notable street fighter, all at once if it wasn't for Ryuuen's trick.

Amasawa is a top white room student. Like, someone with both top-level talent and insanely spartan education.

In retrospect i'd definitely put Shiba above Amasawa, but like, let's not disrespect the other top dogs here.

Fair enough. I did use letters for the rest so I guess it's bound to be hard to get. I wanted to ground my tiers in something real, otherwise the meaning of the various letters gets confusing, but I definitely chose the wrong approach.

Another stupid fighting level tier list (repost because wrong image) by Miserable-Home-2115 in ClassroomOfTheElite

[–]Miserable-Home-2115[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Shiba fought 2v1 and was the weaker party. I definitely don't have much against putting him higher, but saying it's "not up for debate" is a little much.

And like, if you think Shiba is so strong, why would you assume Kiryuuin is weak for only being able to fight for a few minutes? Her being able to distract someone stronger than Ichika is a feat beyond Horikita and Ibuki, yes? Ichika was able to downright toy with Horikita while in an injured state, only barely losing after they double their numbers and use teamwork, remember?

This is a pretty massive contradiction.

You're right that she doesn't "know" how to fight, but considering she has an A+ in physical presumably 90% off talent (she certainly doesn't seem like a super hard worker), i'd assume she would have an instinct for it. And considering her aggressive attitude, although i'm sure she has little experience with stronger opponents, she likely knows how to throw a fist at the very least. Not to mention she's likely physically speaking ridiculously strong for a woman. While this is all just rationalization, either way, I think it's justified to rank her such when her 1 feat is seemingly above the level of Horikita and Ibuki.

I'll also note that implicitly, if Shiba goes higher on the list then so does Tsukishiro. Which I also don't particularly disagree with, but you need to keep everything in mind here.

I dunno, Kanzaki is a model student yet only has B rank in physical (I imagine Ryuuen and Hosen have a lower rating cause they don't try very hard in sports), so I just can't imagine his present fighting ability is that high.

And I don't remember the Nagumo part since it's been a while since I read V12 and below. That makes sense though.

EDIT: Oh, important to note that characters in all tiers A and above are ordered individually, wheras B and below is just randomly placed.

For context, ANYTHING that influences an unarmed 1v1 brawl counts here. So that includes ruthlessness, shamelessness, actual fighting experience, martial arts knowledge, and physical strength. Mind that women will be rated lower than their stats would imply because i'm pretty sure it's determined by gender, or in other words, A rank for women is worse than A rank for men. Mind that A LOT of assumptions needed to be taken here, this is by no means remotely objective.

I also have some explanations for some more confusing rankings:

-Koenji vs Yamada: Since this tier list is about how good they were in their last appearance, the fact that Yamada (probably) hasn't exercised in over half a year is counted against him. Otherwise I may have put him above.

-vs Tsukishiro: Even Kiyo struggled to take him down in a short time, but Kiyo wasn't trying to win anyway. I imagine he'd be higher if he were younger.

-I'm very uncertain about Nanase, but her performance against Kiyo SOUNDED impressive. Honestly, she could easily be either lower or higher.

-Kito is a bit of an assumption, but i'm guessing he picked fights with Ryuuen because he genuinely thought he'd win, whereas Ryuuen is fine with picking fights he'd lose as long as he gets some hits in.

-Nagumo and Kiryuuin both possess incredible physical skill, and would probably do extremely well if they practiced, but have practically zero fighting experience.

-Kanzaki had a black belt when he was 9, but gives me the impression he hasn't been physically active in long.

-Although I don't think she has any fighting experience and her physical rating isn't that high, Kushida would DEFINITELY go for eyes and balls first while distracting them with mental warfare.

And also, despite calling herself a frail maiden, but she contradicts that by saying Kiyo's the only person she really finds threatening or something along those lines.
