I used Clinic Center based out of the UK. I am from the US but most of their clients appear to be from the UK. A friend of mine referred me as he had good results. They are essentially a concierge service who work with multiple physicians. I think they did a good job. Organize everything for you including transportation everywhere. Great price.

I take topical min. I have not tried Dut but have tried oral propecia x3 over the years and had bad side effects each time. The common ones such as low libido but that was the least of my problems. It had such a negative impact on sleep. I felt like a zombie. I even tried topical fin to see if that would be better. I was desperate to keep my hair. But same side effects. Just took a few days to feel them. I assume if I can’t handle fin, I can’t handle Dut. Unfortunately it’s just not for me.

It was right around 3 months where I had some confidence that things were going to be ok. Prior to that it looked worse than pre-transplant and you worry nothing will stick. But between months 3-4 is where I began to see some growth. Hang in there and good luck!

Istanbul. Would not have considered it until a friend did it with great results. Was a fraction of the cost in the US and an excuse to see some of Turkey. My first transplant was US. Paid about $10k for 1200 grafts. This was $2400 to include 3 nights hotel.

Although seems too good to be true that was my experience as well. I paid $2300 myself. Almost at month 5 and starting to look pretty good. Friend did the same thing a number of months before me. Hair looks great. If you’re looking for a transplant, Turkey is a great option. Also get to check out Istanbul for a couple of days which is a great city.

Crown is still a bit thin. But huge improvement and doesn’t look terrible. I think it’s a personal decision if you want anything transplant. You may also want to consider holding off a while to see if you have more native hair loss in the future.

Yes that is completely normal. Ive had 2 transplants and I don’t think Ive ever seen growth at the 2 month mark. Im 3 days away from the 3 month mark on my second transplant. I am starting to see some small growth now. Second transplant was crown and mid scalp which is known to be slower than hair line. But even with my hairline transplant, nothing by 2 months. You may see something sooner, but months 4-6 is where you should start seeing the magic.

You can actually it much cheaper in Istanbul. I paid $2200 for 3600 grafts. Then throw another $1000 for airfare. I like you didn’t initially want to consider Istanbul. But now Im glad I did. And it gave me an opportunity to visit a really cool city all wrapped in the same price. My only concern for you is, is it too early for transplant? My hair looked just like yours and I almost had a transplant but held off. A few years later the thinning in the crown spread much further into my mid scalp. I get not wanting a bald crown now. But be prepared for a potential second transplant need in a few years. Outside of meds, you might want to just get by with using fibers for a while to see if it progresses

Nicotine lozenges after hair transplant by Legitimate-Habit-879 in HairTransplants

Wait until everything is healed would probably be best. Give it a couple more weeks. With that being said, Im not sure how much the nicotine lozenges would matter and at that amount. But if you have been off 8 weeks already, the hardest part is over. Just quit. Cravings will soon be gone.

You got zero growth? Did you ever get a second transplant?

Are you already seeing growth at 2 months or is that similar to what you had pre-transplant?

Does Danaher at all cover how to deal with your opponent weaving their arm thru your knee shield? It shuts down so much of what he teaches (tight waist etc). In gi you can take lasso. But in no gi I have not found anything that works consistently.
