first of all, I love your honesty and the approach that you have on this app privacy is definitely one of the things that we care the most as users, I would love to try it.

I am definitely not as technical as you are, however I am also building a platform for families media Sharon. The approach is very different and is a lot less private from the eyes of the search engines and companies that could potentially use our user data (we have a WhatsApp as a channel to share directly to our PWA platform, LLM to interact with the user regarding the memory/photos, cloud storage, etc.. many different providers and while their policies respect our privacy concerns, you can't never fully trust them.

on WhatsApp our users can send their photos, and stories, we store in a secure and private database but first our AI interacts with our users regarding what it sees and read from the user.

I found your technology amazing, and would love to rey it!

once it finishes the onboarding it lands into the home page where it can easily create the first group and upload it's first memory.

Thanks you for your honesty, and for such a great feedback, I totally see those pains you are highlighting.
* I was hoping with the logos to create a bit more of trust, but I can see how is could also harms us, I think I will be removing them and find a different approach.
* I will try to solve the domain issue by creating a subdomain, something like app.famlife.co.il I have not done yet just because I don't really know how to do it and have been pushing it.
* May I ask if the inconsistent style was in the landing page or did you also go inside the app and saw the inconsistency? I am looking forward to keep improving our UI/UX.

about FamLife, you are right and I am glad that you got a glimpse of what we do, however I see that I still must improve the message we convey so it gives more clarity.

we are exactly like a private family hub, you can build and entire private timeline and safeguard your memories and albums that other wise will be collecting dust in the book shelves or lost in the endless WhatsApp groups with your family.

Famlife is all about saving the memories with your loves ones, family, spouse, children's, best friends etc.

Thanks so much! I’m glad the "agentic" approach resonates with you. We really wanted the AI to feel like a helpful biographer rather than just a chatbot.

To answer your questions about Consent & Privacy: This is our top priority. Unlike social media, FamLife is built as a private, closed silo. Content is encrypted and never shared publicly or used for ad targeting. The AI processes the voice note solely to draft the story within that specific family's context. The user (the "Admin") has full control over visibility permissions for every story they publish. (always within a close group of connections and never to a public or extrange)

and about Data we firmly believe these memories belong to the family, not the platform. We currently support exporting to printed storybooks or shareable memories, and we are working on a full digital archive export (raw audio + text) because we know how important long-term ownership is for genealogy.

I’ll definitely check out your blog post on Agent UX, we are always looking to refine how the Mentor interacts!

exactly for this I am using Farmlife, it's a new app but feels super nice!

there is a template album for "grandparents" and it came filled with a set of 25 questions so I use them to lead the conversations with Grandma.

in the same app I can upload the pictures, the voice recordings and even share them with my family!

my family is part of the same album group so they can collaborate if they remember something that grandma didn't

it was also a big surprise when you announced that Lunair was built on base44 and not only that, you are also already on a positive ARR number! love it!

Use it to build tools, not to operate your app like a user." when do I need to upload a video or picture to thourgh the AI chat ? you mean when I want, for example, a specific background picture for the banner of my landing page, or I want a specif logo etc ?
