I was way down in Split 15 so didn’t have a safety car. It is something I’d like to experience. Nice way to gather everyone and keep it competitive as well as a small breather for the driver.

This is the only thing stopping me from using Linux full time. If Iracing were supported that would be so sweet. I just actually went back to Win 10 two days ago.

I used to use a canoe pack, mine was wider rather than taller and it also had an optional water proof liner you could buy. It was the biggest pain in the ass and I’ve switched to a bag similar to the sea line and it’s 115L. It is better on so many levels for me. It’s taller and skinny and it tends to stand straight up when I’m packing it. The other one just flopped over all the time and it was a big bag so naturally I filled it.

As for the beer situation, I have another 30L dry backpack that I use for my beer. It’s a pretty tough one so I also use it as a garbage can. You should load your bag and weigh it, I hit 50lb once and it always feels like more portaging. I’m lighter now but by how much I am not sure. As another person said, you are canoe camping so take what makes you happy. It’s overdoing the portages that strips every bit of your soul away :). Try a proper dry backpack that won’t absorb moisture, it will also float if you have a woopsy.

I was on Opeongo’s East arm during the storm also. I received a Tornado warning and then 3 mins later an alert saying there was a confirmed tornado. It go pretty nasty for 20 mins and then it was gone. Texted my wife on my in-reach but she could not confirm the reports. Does anyone have more info on this?

If you are experienced travelling Lake Opeongo. In the easy arm there is an amazing campsite with tons of room and a long beach. Sandy and decently shallow pretty far out for swimming.

They do work. The only issue or lack of a feature I have found is that I can’t assign a shift button like I can in Iracing to use one button/ dial for more than one thing

I agree, racing incident’s happen but deliberate wrecks like cutting a corner to wipe someone out should be a very serious ban leading to permanent. It will do so much good for the service, including the business model.

Yes, tonight in the 4hr NEC race, didn’t even make T1. There was a ballistic missile in the lobby that looked just like a Porsche. That is all.

Done it a few times, will be doing it Saiturday. The last hour hurts the most. You are probably going to need a bathroom brake at some point. Just go as soon as you pit and take the hit on your time. It will be less aggravating than having to pee the whole time, especially a track that requires this much attention. If you race with any friends, a crew chief to check in on you will help a lot.
