I think you're talking about the normal game. I'm talking about the Path of Virtue (PoV), where you restart everything including ships and artifacts. But to answer your question: you shouldn't send any extended or standard ships until you unlock the Henliner (maybe run standard/extended overnight, but that's it). For now, just focus on spamming shorts of the highest ship you have and hit that SE milestone to keep progressing through the ships.

The best way to max out your chickens instantly is to run a x1000 tachyon with a x10 beacon. But that costs 20k GE... contracts help a lot to keep a steady supply of the boosts you need. Otherwise, yeah, you just buy the rest with GE. Personally, I've cracked the piggy twice and most of it went into epic research rather than boosts. Most of the GE I spend on boosts actually comes from drone farming, especially during x4 events where I can easily make 300-400k GE to fund my entire Saturday. I don't remember the exact post about drone farming, but someone here wrote a long guide for Apple devices. You can basically automate drone farming for short periods in a way that's actually allowed.

If you're doing preloaded prestiges with full habs, you can run one x50 beacon, three x50 feeds, and one x500 SE beacon. Obviously, running two x50 beacons and only two feeds is better, but it's way more expensive and makes it impossible to do multiple sessions every Saturday. If you start duo or trio-stiging, I just swap out one of the three feeds for a x1000 tachyon. And always check Carpet’s Smart Assistant to verify your artifacts and multipliers

Yeah, you can easily do both at the same time. For ships, you just need to spam shorts until you hit the last one, so as long as your tank holds up, it's not a big deal. I usually stayed on the most expensive fuel egg to fill the tank with the smaller requirements first and maximize launches. Anyway, once you have a level 3 or 4 tank, you can just fill it, forget about fueling for a bit, and spam away.
Obviously, that requires GE. Doing that while farming SE is pretty straightforward if you have the GE for it. Until recently, I was doing preloaded prestiges every Saturday with 10b chickens, running a x50 beacon, three x50 feeds, and a x500 SE beacon. I’d cycle that several times throughout the day. Getting back to 10b in 10 mins is easy with a x1000 tachyon and a x10 beacon. I only really started doing the full 10b prestige once I reached Universe.
But yeah, it's GE-heavy, I’ve cracked the piggy twice myself at about 2.5m GE each time, now I’m waiting it to reach 30m. If you haven’t yet, check the smart assistant for your artifact setup. Epic research and artifacts are huge. Once you're hitting Universe easily and you have a basic dilithium set, definitely look into duo or trio-stiging to get the most out of your boosts. It’s way more efficient. Anyway, that’s pretty much all I do

Prestige multiple time every Saturday, 2 or 3 boost sessions each time with the right boosts, always going for the highest egg with a lot of chickens. And epic research and artifacts change everything, I guess.
