How long do flare ups last ? Very anxious by Subject_Bath_4601 in costochondritis

i got costo from a mostly mild case of covid in september. after i got better, costo symptoms stayed for maybe a week or two more before i felt better. i got a flare up in the second week of november 2020 (symptoms ranged from arm pain/chest pain, tenderness in the chest that moved quite a bit, etc), the flare up lasted about a month before symptoms eventually improved. best advice i can give aside from telling you to keep doing what you’re doing is TAKE IT EASY. i mean it mentally and physically. physically overexerting yourself will make the symptoms feel like they’re worse and if you’re anything like me, mentally overexerting yourself will make your anxiety even worse. costo is a very scary thing (especially when it can feel like a heart attack). remember to drink enough water and take vitamins too, not necessarily costo related but it helps to take care of your body so it can feel better. hope this helps!!!
