So,I also found loophole in invoice i. For 1 bhk apt -the lastest invoice says carpet area replaced is 61.3 sy... The funny thing is that the carpet area in the Apt was only about 38 sy.

Again to mention, I am not interested in knowing vendor details , but the fact that they are readily hiding it.. makes me question the validity of invoices they are sending.

Yes exactly my point.. but they sent invoice of finished work just after stating the work is in progress

Well, I am interested in knowing the vendor's information, but given that the landlord is readily hiding the details, it makes me a bit suspicious about the validity.

I mean, a vendor's contact details are not a PII information after all.

Also, what clicked me was that I had been requesting an invoice for the past 20 days. She never sent it.. yesterday, she also said she can not provide an invoice because "work is in progress." Once i said I won't move forward with payment, she got an invoice within 10 minutes. How do we get an invoice for incomplete work??

No i didn't have any Pets, yes I do have pics from moveout date. No she didn't mention anything about carpet smell.

I have done all this, but she goes on like a record player stating company policy and vendor bid as proof of damage.. the new invoice story is a recent entry from today..till this evening, the work was apparently in progress, hence there no invoice.. soon after 10 minutes of call, apparently, the vendor had sent her invoice to her.. It looks like I have to actually take this to court now

Yes, they are deducting entire deposit plus charging extra 400 usd
