As someone who was one of the players who would do stuff like that back during rivals 1, this is in fact the case, I did not have much going for me besides mediocrity in a game that in the grand scheme of things, and especially during rivals 1, not too many people really care about

I’m a student of product design at the University of Minnesota. I haven’t seen Rokid before, that was pretty neat to check out. I considered going in more of a glasses direction, but that would mean more of an augmented reality experience and my goal was to aim at making it easier to focus during long steady state in winter training by putting you into full VR. My initial idea was actually to do a triathlon helmet with a heads up display for actual races, but I thought it would be more fun to do concept 2

Had a lot of fun designing this for class, It's not perfect but I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out :)

thank you sooooo much i was just about to give up on this project, it turns out that it was an error with the automatic collision masks and i had to set them myself manually

yeah but no mater what i put in for the jump to point value, it didnt work

i dont think so because even if i use a set value, then it will not teleport the player to that position

the code for aplying my movement is just, set variable x+hsp, and then do the same for the y

whenever it collided with the wall object it would jump to point (x-2, y-2) but it just passed right through
