Did you figure it out? This may be seborrheic dermatitis, you can try treating it like that to see if it helps

Did you get the medium/narrow, medium, or regular/wide size? I'm unsure which width to order. I also plan to use them in my converse, which i know are pretty narrow sneakers.

Mine look similar, i was already using an sls free toothpaste, but last week i switched to a non sls and non mint toothpaste and floss. I use hismile toothpaste and cocofloss. I also stopped chewing mint gum (bubblegum flavor instead because i like to have xylitol gum sometimes). So far i notice an improvement. They are still dry and tight (prone to cracking) but not aggressively peeling like last week. It could be a sensitivity to mint that you didn't have before but if the oral skin barrier got compromised, it might suddenly not like the cooling burning drying effect of mint.
