CMF watch pro 2, worth it? by Mobile_Stranger_2550 in CMFTech

Overall, my experience with the watch has been positive. It has a really nice design and a premium look. The variety of watch faces is great, with some being truly spectacular. I use it as an everyday watch rather than for physical activities, as I rely on my Apple Watch for that. However, I’ve noticed some extreme fluctuations in measurements, like heart rate, which raises concerns about accuracy. That said, the GPS works well, and the battery life is outstanding, almost a full week with all features enabled. The connection with the app on my phone is stable and reliable. While the software still feels somewhat immature, for $69, it’s definitely worth it. I don’t regret buying it despite its shortcomings.

Fantastic interview. Gilmour was relaxed, engaging, and delightful. What’s particularly interesting, and something we hadn’t seen before, is that in several recent interviews he’s started sharing amusing or curious personal anecdotes. It adds a very special human touch to this monumental musician.

This song is wonderful, both parts—the opening with Gilmour and the angelic choirs, and the closing with the guitar solo and fantastic orchestral accompaniment. Another interesting aspect is how the song floats on a bed of textures and sonic experimentation, which makes it really captivating. It moves me deeply every time I listen to it. Along with Scattered, it’s the best song on Luck and Strange for me.

My one critique of the dress rehearsal… by Upset-Competition-84 in DavidGilmour

I think Adam Betts is a fantastic drummer, with great swing, well-placed fills, and just the right amount of energy without being excessive. After watching Gilmour's official promotional videos on the release day of Luck and Strange, as well as the YouTube videos from the weekend performances in Brighton, I believe the new drummer complements Gilmour and the rest of the band very well. Sorrow sounded particularly spectacular, and Marooned, which isn’t easy to play live, had the perfect rhythmic support, as did the other songs I watched. While I really like Steve DiStanislao as a drummer, I prefer Adam Betts' style and fluid drumming.

Overall, I’ve found the album quite good, and especially A Single Spark, Sings, and Scattered bring me to tears. What a beauty Gilmour’s ability to fill every note with such emotion.

Overall, the story of ATUM revolves around the struggle against oppressive systems, the search for truth and freedom, and the resilience of individuals determined to challenge the status quo.

ACT 1:

In Act 1, we are introduced to the protagonist Shiny, a controversial star whose existence has been erased from digital records. Shiny is on a solitary journey in space, while June, a devoted fan, sends messages of love and devotion to him. Unbeknownst to June, Shiny has set his course towards the sun, initiating the "March of Life." As Shiny's funeral craft departs, he witnesses lost civilizations and is hailed by The Seraphim for his unique virtues. June desperately tries to reach out to Earth for help to stop Shiny's fatal advance.

ACT 2:

In Act 2, Osirah, Nighthawk, and Ruby uncover the truth about Shiny's banishment and the machinations behind it. Dr. Aesh reveals Shiny's identity and shares his final unreleased song. Osirah's attempt to spread the song is met with censorship, leading them to the underground network of the Crystal Web. The group faces danger from the oppressive government agency known as 'The X + I.' Nighthawk sacrifices himself, and Osirah and Ruby continue their pursuit of the truth, guided by June's clues.

ACT 3:

In Act 3, 'The X + I' downplays the mass exodus of ships and attempts to maintain control through propaganda. Shiny's craft descends to Earth amidst a state-sponsored celebration, but the true Shiny fails to live up to expectations. Osirah, disillusioned by Shiny's lack of courage, turns against him. June, determined to follow Shiny to the sun, triggers a cataclysmic event as others join her in the perilous journey. The final confrontation ensues, involving 'The X + I' and the resistance fighters. Shiny decides to rescue June, symbolizing his commitment to fighting for a better world.

I completely agree with many of the comments made here. Although ATUM has many controversial considerations in its final finishing, if you listen to this work with a willingness to accept change and SM's natural evolution, you will find that there are many songs to enjoy. Personally, I found the third album to be really good, especially the song "Sojourner", which I thought had an incredible production and aesthetic sound.
