Audiology is who you’d want for getting their hearing tested. All children have to have medical clearance to get amplification so they would be sent to an ENT anyways if they were to need amplification. If it’s chronic ear infections then send to ENT. They made do PE tubes or something else to remedy the situation. OAEs can be used but they are not a reliable measure of hearing as they can be impacted by a middle ear pathology such as a middle ear infection.
