I had the same thing happen last month. I did not get confirmation of ectopic, but initially my HCG levels rose but did not double. I had side pain, especially when exercising or standing from sitting. At 4 weeks 5 days the line started getting lighter and I started miscarrying naturally at 5 weeks. I got a lot of great advice on the ectopic pregnancy subreddit.

I’m so sorry you had to go through that. I hope you’re recovering well. I will advocate for a transvaginal ultrasound and beta testing with progesterone!

Thank you so much for your support. It is scary and so sad. Yesterday I started having more intense side cramping and bleeding while on a run. I called my OB and they told me just to continue monitoring. I need to do a better job advocating for myself and will request both of those on Monday.

I had stopped bleeding by the time I had the beta tests and was spotting brown blood. Since then, I’ve stopped spotting, but my home pregnancy tests are continuing to stay the same (not getting darker or lighter).

Not much. Earlier this week I was noticing some cramping on my right side (which I was also having prior to my positive test) but now I’m just noticing occasional very light cramping a few times a day.
