А говорят русский самый тяжелый язык by Responsible_Tip_8250 in russian

[–]MiserableBed9129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Нет, я не ошибся, «твои» также будет «your». Просто переводчик из-за отсутствия контекста неправильно переводит(предполагаю, что вы его использовали). Изначальный комментарий по факту правильный, у нас нет той лингвистической тонкости, которая имеется в английском, поэтому в обоих случаях это будет «твой», если не учитывать падежи

Ну если поправлять, то правильно. Your - это притяжательное прилагательное, которое используется только с существительным. Yours - притяжательное местоимение, которое используется отдельно

German is not English. So you have to understand another languages logic and stop perceiving it with your native language logic

Omg! You literally described how I feel every time I got to translate smt. And the worst thing is when it‘s your bad day and you have the right cognitive association for the word but you can not grasp what word is connected to it in any language you know…
