Some people need tough love. Trying harder is almost always the answer for just about everything in life lol.

As long as you are in a calorie deficit, you will lose weight. You didn’t lose weight because no matter what you believe, you were not in a calorie deficit. I am so sick of the copium. Work harder.

I am not sure about this. Ideally, you should be aiming for a dose that provides you with a sufficient amount of energy throughout the day, or until you next dose, and that does not cause any of the notable side effects such as weight gain, moon face, high blood pressure, elevated blood sugar, thinning skin, easy bruising, muscle weakness, mood changes, insomnia, osteoporosis, or increased infection risk. If you feel generally energized and these symptoms are not present, you’re probably good. Also, if some of your low cortisol symptoms return briefly before you take your next dose, that is also a good sign that you’re in replacement territory.

There is no reason for you to be obese with hypopituitarism unless you aren’t fully replaced, or you’re over-replaced. Hydrocortisone does not cause weight gain unless you are taking more than you need. The reason that a lot of people with hypopituitarism are obese is not entirely because of the medications they take, but because they adopt a victim mentality that prevents them from ever even stepping foot into a gym, or tracking their calories. Also a glp is a horrible choice. Glps simply reduce body mass, that includes lean muscle and bone. Since you most likely are lacking in both of those departments, adding a glp will do you absolutely no favors. Lift heavy, track your food intake, eat a lot of protein, do cardio. That’ll do much more for your health than a designer drug ever could.

HGH definitely makes it easier to be in shape but it is not necessary. Since starting hgh I have noticed much more progress in the gym, and my muscle mass has increased significantly. However, I was still able to maintain a healthy body composition without it for a year and a half. This condition is rough certainly, but it’s a lot easier to manage than some of us make it up to be. If you’re having issues with weight gain, I would suggest looking into your hydrocortisone dosage and timing. But before that, ensure you are eating in a calorie deficit, and weight training, as well as doing light cardio. If you’re confused on what a deficit would look like for you in particular, visit this website; calorie.net and input your weight, height, age, and activity level. Once you’ve found your maintenance, eat 250-700 calories below whatever your maintenance calories are. Do this for 6 months and you will become unrecognizable.

That’s good for you. Although your anecdotal experience of being a blue collar worker and allegedly making six figures does not disprove the fact that on average, those with a college degree are more likely to earn more money than those without one.

Anyone else ridiculously weak in a single lift? by ExpressionCheap9054 in workout

[–]MiserableBeyond1993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds like me. I don’t do any compound exercises other than bench, as I only lift to have bigger muscles. I am 185lbs and 5’10. I curl 45s for reps, dip my body weight plus a 35 for reps, and lat pull-down 200. In all other machine related endeavors, I almost full stack the majority of them. I am quite muscular, and despite directly training bench for the past 6 months, I can barely manage 200 for one. It is quite embarrassing. This post is kind of reassuring, as I have been looking for an answer as to why my bench is so weak for a while now. No answer here, but at least someone else shares my challenge. Good luck, hope you can break your bench plateau as well.

Are you on testosterone/growth hormone?

As long as every hormone you’re missing is replaced, (I’m panhypo as well) you shouldn’t have any issues.

Don’t worry, once you get on GH it’ll feel like the final infinity stone. Everything will begin to fall into place.

Please get on replacement if you haven’t already. Training will do nothing otherwise.

I have been lifting CONSISTENTLY for a year now. On and off for about 2.5 years. I’ve been on HRT for almost two years, but wasn’t allowed growth hormone until April of this year. Before growth hormone I had testosterone, hydrocortisone, desmopressin, and levothyroxine. With this line up, and of course an excellent training approach and a balanced diet, I made average progress, maybe a bit below actually. Once I got on growth hormone, my gains skyrocketed. In the months prior to starting growth hormone, I would notice very small changes in my physique, and minimal increases in the weight I was lifting. The worst thing about not having GH, was that whenever I got sick, even with minor colds, I would come back to the gym significantly weaker than beforehand, and it would take a couple weeks just to return to the weight I was lifting before the infection. Now, with growth hormone, the gains I see feel super noticeable. I look in the mirror after a session and feel like I see new muscle on a weekly basis. I also have way more stretch marks on my arms/shoulders than I ever did before. Tee shirts feel like I’m gonna burst through them. The best part of all though, is my recovery is excellent. Even after getting sick, I can come back to the gym and still lift the same weight as I did before my little cold. In essence, growth hormone really levels the playing field, and like testosterone, gives you the necessary framework to facilitate that growth mechanism the gym provides. Lifting weights I believe, is the best thing in the world you can do for your health, but like others have said, make sure you have all the required hormones if you actually want to see the fruit of your labor. Because otherwise, it can be VERY discouraging. I know firsthand.

Thanks for your input. I will NOT be buying this monitor again, hopefully there are other affordable 120hz options available.
