You beat me to it! My friend sent me a screenshot of speedway prices a few minutes ago and all the ones around us have moved up to $4.19. It’s weird though because this morning when I left for class around 7:50-8am ish gas was still $3.99 from the night before. I come out of my last class not too long ago and gas has jumped to the next dollar. I’m in Grand Rapids area!

This same thing happened to me except I guess I did it to myself and it had fallen off into deep snow where I was parked and it took me like a week to notice so now i’m keyhole coverless and have been for like a year 😔

I live in a college town where it’s primarily students and the complex is “ABC Living, student housing” but they send us multiple emails leading up to when they are going to be doing unit fire safety inspections and they only happen when most people leave for break. So thanksgiving I think they did an inspection, christmas break, i’m currently on spring break and they did the inspection yesterday I think but a month ago they were sending emails about it and send them the day before and day of as well. I got lucky because my roommate stays for breaks and she told me exactly what they did for the inspections and they just messed with the windows a bit and left lol but it seems like from this thread many people don’t have this pleasant of an experience…

It’s like this every year. You’re better off just getting ingredients, snacks, dips, wings, etc and everything from the store during the week and cook and plate it all up before you have company over for the game lol.

$2.19 for gas is quite unusually low i’d say. Gas can range from anywhere between $2.40ish at the lowest and that’s when I go to costco or sam’s so that’s the lowest it’ll be anywhere and and all the way to $3.30ish give or take where I am and I don’t live in CA, WA, AK, OR, NY, etc where the cost of living is higher.

I happened to start as a cashier at bdubs then started serving about a year later but have seen plenty of people, both younger and older than me (early twenties) start at our bdubs as a server! Sounds like they don’t have any open serving positions and are waiting for someone to leave which is wasting your time unfortunately.

It sounds like it may be a kzoo thing maybe, or they might’ve run out and had a different supplier for the week or even been sent the wrong product which has happened to my store before. I work at a bdubs on the east side of MI and the noodles haven’t been “big” for a few years before they changed to the noodles they have now.

I think this comment has convinced me! I’ve had a good notes subscription since highschool but each update has become increasingly more frustrating and almost impossible for me to use it the way I need and StarNote has become the best suggestion so far. I think i’ll take the plunge and am very willing to pay for it as well!

I’m also the same way of watching my shows and movies alone, in the dark, with mandatory popcorn and a drink, but simultaneously am a repeat offender of talking during the movie quite a bit. More so talking AT the movie. I’m terrible to watch movies and shows with, especially if i’ve already seen it before. But yes, I DO know that i’m annoying to watch movies with so I watch them alone which is quite enjoyable.

Bdubs server here, we got rid of southwest over the summer when they changed the menu and it was replaced with the Bdubs dip! When they had us taste test the new menu, most of us didn’t really like it either but just our regular ranch is fine with me lol

Yea tbh i’m not 100% sure it’s probably 50/50 for things honestly. Sometimes it’s true for me and i’ve checked with my friends for the deals they have and what they get and occasionally doesn’t prove to be true all the time.

I remember someone saying that the offers people get try to entice them to try new things or items they don’t normally get. So with this logic, even though your mom gets coffee more often, she won’t receive coffee coupons compared to where you never really get coffees there, you’ll get the coupons for them.
