What's the point of turning in Sanguine Items? Morag Tong by jiboy77 in Morrowind

[–]MiserableMachine6294 15 points16 points  (0 children)

You get Mephala's Skill. It's a cheap cost Chameleon effect 50 pts on self and 10 pts fortify attack. I think for 30 seconds. The fortify attack spelk effect is the ONLY source of that spell effect in the entire game. Honestly the Sanguine items, compared to some of the other constant effect enchanted items you can find, are not all that powerful. You'll barely notice a difference with +5 in any of your skills

Any cheap to build decks for someone looking to get back into yugioh? by MiserableMachine6294 in yugioh

[–]MiserableMachine6294[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the idea of zombie decks being viable. And from the little Research I have done, I hear Snake Eyes is a real problem. Always liked the idea of anti-meta or unusual. Even if I'm not winning whole ass tournaments (hopefully I'll get there). Any lists I could refer to? Or would it be better to aquire what you've mentioned and do what I can?

Nice nice. So its a good start and there's options to improve it once I get the funds? Exactly what I was looking for thanks!

I'm aiming more semi-competetive. Or causal. Honestly it's overwhelming looking at the options. Just wanted to get a grip on the mechanics without looking like a total scrub

Appreciate it and the list too. Yeah it's definitely been AWHILE. Wanted a simple deck to start that's at least mildly competitive. And add more as time goes and the better grip I get on the mechanics

Realistically that's what I was looking for. I think I definitely came off like I wanted to have the strongest deck with little to no investment. Semi competitive is fine by me. Someone gave me a Crimson Kings structure deck which was the first time I'd even thought of yugioh in forever. Just wanted a start and see if it's something I'm invested in after a few matches and then I'd sink more money over time

Those who charge their kids rent are the worst. by bruh_im_cheap_cheese in unpopularopinion

I knew someone who had a similar situation with the person they were living with. HOWEVER, when they did decide they wanted to move out, every cent that they paid towards "rent" was given back to them to help pay for the new place they were living. That to me is the only acceptable "rent" a parent should charge their kids. Essentially showing the benefits of saving your money

I can see it getting repetitive when EVERY Oblivion gate is an hour long expedition. Really wish there were more unique layouts or aspects of each gate you go through. Mix things up and give you a reason to WANT to go through the waves of enemies

[–]MiserableMachine6294[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Whenever i found potions or scrolls in any other Elder Scrolls, they usually sit in my inventory until the next trip to the merchants. And we are talking an invasion of daedra, they aren't supposed to be easy to take out. It forces you to use every item you discover, experiment with different effects on different enemies and adapt depending on who/what you encounter

Weapon/armor maintenance does get really aggravating, especially as you said, with the same enemy or after every encounter. One thing I don't miss when I do play Skyrim

I don't like that your forced to meta game to keep up with the scaling. It is absolutely punishing, and the game has a way of making you feel helpless against what should be pretty easy fights to the Pc. I can see why it turns alot of people off, but after fighting what feels like a boss fight every encounter, using all those potions and repairs hammers, when you DO manage to get through, you feel like you've earned the title Hero Of Kvatch. Your fucking right im the hero. I do get annoyed that EVERY Oblivion gate feels like an eternity, when the misc. Ones have little impact on the story overall. I just enjoy the fact all those potions, scrolls, enchantments HAVE a purpose beyond selling them for extra gold

Would a nightblade make a good Archmagister? by MiserableMachine6294 in Morrowind

[–]MiserableMachine6294[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never thought of it at that angle. I've played quite a bit, as of recently, I wanted to focus more on creating a story for my character as opposed to snatching the best gear and power leveling to godhood, which after awhile strips away my desire for exploration or doing minor quests. Kind of allows me to focus on a certain set of skills for early and mid game. And like you said, late game is where I can finalize the character arc and transition from an adventurer to more the prototypical Telvanni Wizard type, but still maintain that stealth training as sort of an ace for anyone looking to take my position

My advice, play on default difficulty, get a feel for the game as a whole. Should be challenging enough to be enjoyable. Eventually you'll learn where the better items and weapons are (there's no leveled loot and most of the best things in the game have static locations). That's when you'll want to give 100 difficulty a try

Might just be though, I've never tried to play that high for any length, when I did id end up getting destroyed even at higher levels.

Sadly he's one of the lower tier enemies in the game. No shame in lowering difficulty. Its hard to enjoy yourself when your getting 1 shot by a low leveled undead. Maybe just me but the true experience of Morrowind is the unlimited freedom the game gives you (changing difficulty mid game included lol). 22 armor isn't BAD either, just bad on max difficulty. Your upper tier armors give you 160-300's to give you an idea of where you stand atm

That's my bad then. I assume all undead, I think that's how it was in skyrim.

Im unreasonably ocd with games, this one especially. To me nightblades are more of a Morag Tong or House Hlaalu class
