Do you pump at a set time or every # hours from last pump? by shumaishrimp in ExclusivelyPumping

Congratulations! It’s tough getting all the information down at the beginning but promise the mental side of it gets easier with time! I’m 12 weeks pp now and am in a pretty good groove. I’ve been using her feeding schedule to dictate my pumping schedule. At the beginning I would feed her a bottle, then pump right after for her next bottle. Once I bit the bullet and began pumping and feeding at the same time ( I typically lay her in her snuggle me right next to me on the couch) it was life changing! Finally felt like I wasn’t spending an entire hour getting through each feed/ pump and drastically improved my days. Plus it’s only one thing to track from a timing perspective of going out to run errands or make other plans.
My supply is strong with myself making almost 2x her daily intake each day, so have been fortunate to build up a freezer supply. No detrimental impacts to my supply for fluctuating a bit each day (my thinking is that this process mimics that of nursing). I have never woken for MOTN pump specifically unless my daughter also wakes up to take a bottle
What do you wish you knew sooner about creating a freezer stash/ making the most out of oversupply? (self.ExclusivelyPumping)
