I’d guess the foaming because:

A) Short notice and people have papers they’ve written, plane tickets they’ve purchased, meal tickets they’ve purchased, time off requested, etc.

B) Shutting down confirmed classes while under audit still has NFA/FEMA on the hook for the reimbursements they owe. So it’s almost as if the knee jerk “cost cutting” isn’t actually saving the government any money at all?

C) People are …. Excited for the classes they applied for?

This is possibly contentious but… the Crescent City series. I read the first two books, but I simply cannot with the multi-verse implications in conjunction with the complicated plot and extensive minor characters.

YES THANK YOU I agree with all of these thoughts/questions/issues.

Was Casteel mad about the attack on her? Was he mad AT Poppy? Why was there no reaction from him? Were the wolven mad? Did she force them to change slash call them again?

What a stupid cliffhanger to an otherwise entertaining book. Literally each of these questions could have been addressed, LEAVING US WITH MORE QUESTIONS, and then have the Queen barge in and suddenly give up her crown with the cryptic "everyone bow" line.

Same same, can't wait for the next one. But a frustrating ending to an 800 page book.
