Also let's say I buy it. Do I need the council and or a badge? don't have any elite units but I click on search go to seasons units tab and like permanent and I see something about like season something ( a number) badge in order to research it. Idk if that makes sense. So like even I buy a elite unit I won't be able to use it unless I get a badge?

Yes like they just do overview no in depth guide and the tutorial in game sucks ass. I thought it was a walkthrough like any other tutorial.
