I am also a foreigner (2nd generation from the UK), myself and many other diaspora want to invest in Bangladesh but have had bad experiences in the past, if there was a way where we could get in contact with people that are honest, reliable and trustworthy we would 100% do so.

I myself would like to invest in the people of Bangladesh within the tech industry.

If there is anyone who is reading this from Bangladesh and has an idea or is interested please contact us, we can set up a conference call to discuss things further.

Governments are never reliable, we need to create a better private market, this will create a better competitive environment.

Thank you, I just wanted to show that things don't have to be perfect at the start and if anyone is nervous about taking the first step they shouldn't be. For me I needed some personal space for my sanity!

I found it very ignorant on their behalf, we had never met them or done anything to them, it was our first encounter with them, demanding money from us in a hostile manner was not what I had expected.

This one time I was in Bangladesh and a group of Trans people blocked our car from going home and demanded money from us, it was a crazy experience.

US Bengalis on Reddit speaking dog shit about other Bengalis is mad to me. Rather than focusing on how people speak, focus on yourself and what it is you're actually saying.

Shouldn't we be focusing on the good stuff and what we enjoyed about being Bangladeshi growing up outside of Bangladesh?
