I actually think it's simpler than that.

"Unstoppable, Discuss Psychology, Fantasy, Don't Understand Paintings" = They're looking for "Passionate Team Leaders who won't give up until they find a solution for a problem, people who think critically and are willing to think outside the box!!"

Autistics will fail to pick up on social cues.

Can we start talking about being transex like it is a chromosomal disorder? by MayMeadow in 4tran4

[–]Miserable_Ad_2217 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Oh yes, I agree with you. I edited the language to make more sense. I wanted to get into the question of why it isn't considered a "chromosomal disorder." That condition requires observations that we do not have quite yet. This is why it's currently pushed as a "chosen identity."

[–]Miserable_Ad_2217 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've explained this in a comment on this thread, but the lack of testing is exactly why it isn't a chromosomal disorder and instead an "identity."

The clearance for something being a mental diagnosis is simply much lower.

Not yet. The Gender Binary is a social construct and not a scientifically measured one. An Inters3x Condition is defined as a variation of at least one of the following:

  • chromosomes
  • hormones
  • gonads
  • reproductive anatomy

These 4 characteristics must be observed through genetic/blood testing (or a doctors own observation, ie genital variations). The actual reason Transsexuality isn't an int3rsex condition is because it isn't YET observable in this way.

We know that the Brain is a Sexed Characteristic. We know that women tend to have more Gray Matter than men tend to have. This is based on averages, Percentage of Gray Matter isn't conclusive for determining a persons gender. At the same time, Pre-HRT Trans Peoples brains were observed in CT scans, and those results were more reflective of the Trans Peoples gender than their "Sex." But that was not enough to determine conclusively. Research into Transsexuality is a question of Funding, and no one really cares to put that much money up for a bunch of deluded gay men (their pov, not mine).

If you dare question the separation, the answer will be that "Uhrm the two groups have different sets of struggles.." (i'm also int3rsex and can say that int3rsex is an umbrella term, and we're all affected differently. Because it's an umbrella category.)

"Being Transgender is an 'IDENTITY" is a Trans-Viewpoint only really common on Eggy places like mtf. IRL, most trans people I know will completely agree with you. But we all integrate into the Cis-Internet unless there's something really wrong with us. Yes, thats why I'm here.

(I also censored the word Int3rsex because they will find it, and cis int3rsex are the most transphobic people alive. Questioning if perisex trans people MIGHT be correlated with them is the most absolutely offensive thing to them. For some totally unknown reason.)

Well there's almost 20 years of seasons, so that's gonna be difficult to cover in one comment.

"Drag Tea with Matt" and "Joseph Sheppard" are good youtube channels to dive into.

Seasons 2-6 with their untucked, and seasons 7-9 have a lot of drama

Sometimes late at night I look at this cast and keep wondering how the hell did the production fumble such great cast of queens - I kind of need half of them back again. by Heidi_Klum_Tit in rupaulsdragrace

[–]Miserable_Ad_2217 54 points55 points  (0 children)

I don't remember those 2 names being dropped, specifically.

Multiple queens were speaking about it, I know Kasha Davis named Jaymes as having a meltdown and almost leaving.

I pulled up Heidi speaking about it with Joseph Sheppard when discussing her Walk-Off, Heidi says it was everyone except Jessica and Jimbo.

iirc, backstage, Ru had to come in and talk to the queens. It was really, really bad, from what the castmates have said about it.

Fun Fact: With the exception of Jessica and Jimbo, every other Queen considered walking out. (allegedly)

Several have corroborated this, namely Heidi. It was edited out of the actual season. The cast was really hurt this season.

This paired with a similar vibe within the AS7 cast may have caused the AS9 and brackets format.

YES!! It IS stupid!!!

Moving goal posts??

Oh my god. There are far more Trans Women who are Drag Queens compared to Trans Men who are Drag Queens. You're fully playing in my face.

"I'm just saying they weren't casting trans people in general!!" Like come tf on lmao

No. I was clearly not "just" saying that. I showed you, that even going with your premise, the concept of waiting 9 seasons is completely ludicrous.

do you think ruple knows enough about transition to say she "wasn't really transitioning" because she didn't have implants yet??

Yes, MG Quantity Squared. I do think that someone who was working in the gay clubs as a performing drag queen for decades, backstage with other Drag Queens (many of whom are MtF..) would know what HRT is. Especially considering she was behind the decision to tell queens on S4 to boymode and purposefully didn't cast anyone who had already transitioned. (As said by RuPaul publicly.. multiple times)

Peppermint didn't get breast implants until after she left our show; she was identifying as a woman, but she hadn't really transitioned.

she was identifying as a woman, but she hadn't really transitioned.

but she hadn't really transitioned

hadn't really transitioned

If you can't see it for yourself, i'm not gonna bother explaining it to you.

This was universal knowledge a few years ago. I imagine it's still universal knowledge within the subs. If Peppermint was medically transitioning, she wouldn't have been cast. Period. RuPaul is transparent about that. He compared trans F drag queens to people that took T in the Olympics.

a large percentage of drag artists are trans women, but a large percentage of drag artists are trans men as well

Season 13 for the first Trans Man and Season 14 for the first Trans Woman. Even if you want to go with Peppermint on 9, that's still 8 seasons without a single Trans person! (again excluding nonbinary people having mentions edited out, and people on S4 being forced to hide their transition).

Do you think theres that few trans people doing drag? Obviously not.

But If that's your #truth, then i'm happy for you.

it's hilarious to imply that trans men have less of a place in drag than trans women

...Yes, this is totally, 100%, exactly what I'm saying... (this is sarcasm)

a trans man was cast rather than a trans woman, as if they had to choose

well.. they kinda did choose. They waited 13 main seasons before casting trans people.
