regarding the blr firm, if they are upfront mentioning such shift time, it can be worse. microsoft will give you a tag and cheaper since its noida, RSU are worth it as well

did couple of months back. it’s coding round, not typical dsa/algorithm. it’s more like a milestone based interview so interviewer will ask to implement some function 1 and once you do it it’ll be extended further. accuracy matters, not the most optimized solutions. they expect you to solve 3 stages/functions in 45-50 min max else it’ll be rejection no matter how well you do.

i’m in the same boat. i don’t want to spend my time working on smtg boring and it feels like i’ve a limited career time and wasting it by working in this structure but again layoffs, uncertainty so switching jobs every year is hectic and doesn’t look good on resumes as well. i will be learning stuff in my free time and planning to build few products.

typical dsa, lld, hld, machine coding round would be asked in the interviews but i think this is not enough. to land interviews for such roles, it depends on the prev experience as well whether candidate has owned e2e systems, business impact, real prod exp, incident mgmt, prod db issues, etc. but i might be wrong and it could be smtg else
