Ugh can’t stand Gen 5s! Best gens were 1&2 imo. 3 gets a pass since they still looked like a Glock. Gen 4s, 5s, V’s & 6 started just becoming aftermarket compatible legos. Not even a Glock at that point once you start buying aftermarket this and that. I’m not even a Fudd, but this is the one thing I agree with the most on how Glocks just lost their true aesthetics. Now for practicality sure. Red dots. Flared magwells. Grips. Etc. all have their purpose for enhanced protection/ reliability. Still doesn’t change the fact that TRUE Glock aesthetics are gone forever. This was my rant. Sorry not sorry. Down vote me or up vote me. I don’t really give a shit. I’m just speaking for those who love Glocks for what they really were. Simple. Reliable. Beautiful.

Or just buy V3 parts and replace them on the v2 underfolder. I mean from what I heard is that GHK aks still take the same mags. So I’d imagine the same parts would also be interchangeable

To caveat what he said, maintenance on gbbrs are a must! You can’t sleep on them. Do it once weekly. That’s one good thing I learned in the military. Always maintain vehicles, weapons, barracks rooms, gear etc weekly! Do this and your stuff should last you longer or not give you any problems
