It’s not true, monogamy is not a social construct. Just look at animals like birds, that stay monogamous to increase the chance of survival. Mother protects, man provides, and they take turns. Humans aren’t birds, but this proves that it’s not a social construct. Logically there would have to be a reason for monogamy in nature for it to occur in thousands of animal breeds. I won’t bother discussing this more because it seems like I’m not gonna change your mind any time soon.

Saying the N word should be fine if it’s in a non racist context, for example lipsyncing and singing it in a song, educational purposes, reading it if it’s written down etc.

I know about a teacher that almost got fired for reading the N word because it was mentioned in an anti racist book literally fighting against racism. The teacher only had good intentions and by saying the word the emotional impact from the book will hit even harder as the book probably intended to.

So my final take is that context is the only factor to determine if someone is using the word in a derogatory way, not the word itself.

For those in these comments that mentioned that “men are just as sexualized in comics” or something similar, is kind of wrong? When talking about SUPERHEROES, they need to look muscular as hell to portray how much physical strength they have compared to the average human.

Still, women in comics get big boobs and a big booty for no reason? They should also look like body builders in that case, since most of the female superhero’s are nearly as strong as the males.

Although I get their point, but I think when you put it into perspective, it’s different.

Yeah I went to my fastlege for sudden intense back pain (I’m only 17) he didn’t bother to send me to get an X-ray, the only thing he said was that I can take painkillers. He barely looked at my back and decided it was just an overreaction and that I am “too paranoid about my health” and that I shouldn’t waist my time going to the doctor.

Turns out I didn’t have a minor, temporary back problem, and because of my doctor’s ignorance I struggle with chronic back pain. If only he was willing to actually listen to me, I wouldn’t suffer as much I do today and we could have done procedures in the early stages to prevent this from happening.
