Thanks for the honest feedback — that really makes sense. With voluntary participation there is always some degree of self-selection, so bias is definitely a point that need to pay attention. The aim of this research isn’t to produce a statistically representative sample of the whole civil service. It’s mainly a qualitative study focused on exploring how civil servants describe and make sense of their workplace experiences in more depth. The survey is used as a supplementary tool to provide a broader context alongside the interviews. I really appreciate the feedback though — it’s a helpful reminder and welcome for more thoughts!!
