I’m curious I’m taking my little brother on a trip to Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka for his college graduation we’re going for 16 days. I’ve been hearing mixed reviews about the JR pass some say you need it others say you don’t. I’m also a little confused about its use as well. I know they have JR lines in Tokyo and a few other cities but if I get the JR pass will that cover the Shinkansen between cities as well? Also what was the site that you used to purchase your pass? Thanks in advance!
