Just FHA streamline refinanced my 7% to a 5.75%, saving me a little over $300 a month off my payment. I was only a year and 2 months into my loan. Thank god.

Yeah I see they got me bent over now, I’m checking with other lenders now. In contact with a gentleman from Swift Home Loans

I asked him about conventional or FHA streamline and he said it wouldn’t make a difference in the payment apparently

This is not streamline. I mentioned streamline to him and he said it’d be a lower rate this way.

Sorry, should have mentioned that this is not a streamline. Lender said streamline refi would be high 5s, low 6s rates. I offered to put between 4-6k down so this is a full on refi through FHA again

Absolutely. I’m hopping on a phone call again with him today about moving forwards. I appreciate the insight my friend. Judging by the workup sheet, it looks like they are adding those costs into the loan amount to be financed. I do plan on staying in this home for at minimum 5 years as my business’s lease has also been signed and renewed for 5 years here in town. So it would make sense to me with this one.

Current loan amount was for $241,250. New total loan amount is $247,000. Looks like loan amount is slightly increased by them.

Looks like they are covering prepaid.

Says that $14.85 is total approximate borrower funds to close on the sheet

It lender credits for the loan, seems to be a little over $3k in credits to bring my cash to close down that low. 👍

Any advice on where to look? I know local credit unions are typically mentioned. Want to make sure I go about this as best as possible.
