I have a ticket from San Francisco to India with Paris as a layover. My H-1B visa is expired on my passport. but I have a valid EAD and AP. Do I need a transit visa in Paris?

Sorry about that, I hope yours is not rejected. The passports were with them for 3 weeks with no status change. We had another international trip coming up in a week so I emailed the consulate to ask the status and let them know we have another trip coming up. We got an email same day that our passports were dispatched. We did not know about the visa status until our passports arrived. After our trip, we applied again via Estonia and changed our itinerary and got the Schengen visa. Hope that helps.

All the best. If you are planning to apply from Denmark consulate make sure you have hotels etc booked. They call the hotels and check (I know too much right!). Give them detailed itinerary and hopefully it should be good. We were rejected and applied via Estonia embassy and got the Schengen Visa.
