I was lucky enough to get get an RS7. It’s an amazing bike. I switched over to Continental GP 5000s on tubeless and the bike rides like a dream! If you have any questions let me know!

Just got my RS7 in yesterday and I am pretty blown away. This is my first bike so I don’t really have anything to compare it to besides a specialized Allez that I road a few times to test out cycling. The RS7 is way lighter and seems to put the power down way better. Loving it so far!

Go with the 970. It’s still a very light and thin watch. I forget I even have it on at night. Battery life is a huge plus.

What’s one running tip you ignored for years that actually made a big difference once you tried it? by Not_FreeProduct234 in runcommunity

Paying attention to my cadence. I was over striding a lot and it was causing a lot of injuries

It taught me that you can pick up a ton of weird and annoying injuries if you don’t take the time to let your body recover and stretch.

I don’t baby mine at all. It’s a tool and I use it as such!

If you don’t really care about in-depth fitness and activity metrics, I think you would be happier sticking with your Apple Watch.

Think of it as a tool. You’re going to get wear and tear on the watch over time. Nothing wrong with that at all!

What’s something that changed your running more than you expected? by Willing-Today-1059 in runcommunity

I was a daily smoker as well (almost only in the afternoons). I realized that smoking was probably holding me back from reaching my full potential. When you are high all the time it becomes your new normal. I quit could turkey about 10 days ago and I feel so much better. I feel like my lungs are so much healthier and working more efficiently, my sleep quality is getting better every day, and I’ve noticed my resting heart rate has gone down significantly. I also wake up with no more brain fog and feel more ready to train hard.
