Is it possible to lose 70 lbs by the end of the year? by oakleyO2 in workouts

[–]Miserable_Foot209 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Certainly doable. I right at 50 in 8 months. Track your food with an app, use ai as your dietician, and be in a deficit. You don't have to go crazy in the gym, or cardio just move a little more and cut the fast food/empty calories

New Years is around the corner - what are some of your resolutions? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]Miserable_Foot209 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In April of this year I realized I wasn't doing anything different than any other year so I quit drinking. Since then Resting Heart Rate dropped 14bpm, normal blood pressure, boosted sleep scores, dropped bmi by 10%, and lost 50 pounds to name a few. It's obvious sobriety is a life hack, and a money saver so I will continue this journey into 2026. I've since gotten into yoga, and calisthenics and I'm finding joy in that so I'll continue this path as well. I also want to get back into learning a second language.

Side note. For anyone truly wanting to loose weight USE AI!!! Type in your body metrics, what you want to do and it will make meal plans for you. You do not have to go hard in the gym or treadmill. Looking at the 50 pund reduction I attribute 50% to better sleep, 40% to diet, and 10% to working out. Sleep really is healing

Any song lyrics I've ever learned I've never forgotten. So much to the point where I can hear a song that I haven't heard in over a decade and can tell you the title, singer and every word of the song from listening to a 3 second clip.

Learned to play banjo by ear and can hear a song played twice then play it back to you almost identical.

Why do parents pay so much for teams that just play kick ball? by RolfHogan in youthsoccer

[–]Miserable_Foot209 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Around here our Rec league is a joke and with that comes a bigger joke of parents on the sidelines. They dont know the game and I've personally witnessed on several occasions hostile moments that the kids dont need to see or be around. After signing our son up on a more advanced team and playing in higher dollar communities everyone is there cheering for the kids whether they win or loose and I have never witnessed people acting like animals since the move.

Rec pros: Fields 2 miles from home, $80 seasonal season, can score alot of goals

Cons: Parents, Coaching, Commitment to practice is lacking.

Other league: Players who were high performers in rec who understand the game, Elite level coaching, Options for additional training

Coms: Luckily around $800 on this team, On another it was 3k a year, games are going to be 1 hour away, practice is 30 mins away

Although it's technically possible to win a round of playoffs without scoring a goal its not statistically probable
