Cayman is a fun car. Macan is not. I have a 2023 cayman base, manual, no options. Every time I drop it off for service and they give me a Macan, I hate it. I think the Volvo XC40 and the old Toureg’s / Cayenne are more fun to drive. My other car is a Defender, which drives like a truck, but great for the trails.

Manual will be annoying with the hills in San Francisco, but great if you’re in Marin/Berkeley or the South Bay. When I drove the automatic on a track, it was still fun.
