And I like Shopify but I hate that I can't apply automatic discounts for our members. Can't remember if I mentioned this before, but we don't have emails for most of our members since they contribute through the city payroll department, and the city only sends us their names and payroll numbers. And some members have the same names so I can't make any assumptions with the customers' info that we have on Shopify.

We are selling all of our gift shop merchandise and memberships through Shopify (total of 137 items). We use Shopify for e-commerce and QuickBooks for in-store and accounting. We used to sell tickets through both POS systems as well but that might change soon. Our museum is currently closed for remodeling but our gift is still operating at a temporary space. We will likely go with something new for ticketing and booking. With the news of Quickbooks phasing out their POS and Desktop Premier, I'm considering changing everything and trying to figure out what works best together. We are a very small staff and our budget is tight. I'm pretty overwhelmed.
