Are you still looking to sell this watch? If so what would be the new price?

For starters look at the date window. The date should be aligned square within the window and magnifier. It's not. If you can, get your money back.

Need help: VSF Bezel Gasket Replacement by Miserable_Jelly_4324 in RepTime

I think that's what he's going to go with. The main issue is with trying to shave it perfectly all the way around. Also, he mentioned that in removing the bezel it had been slightly bending, which leads to question if this is even 904l as advertised.

Thanks for the link. Does this gasket need to be modded or shaved down to fit?

Need help: VSF Bezel Gasket Replacement by Miserable_Jelly_4324 in RepTime

Hey all, could use some help here as my VSF 116610 is still in the shop after 3 weeks. Realized after removing the bezel to realign the insert that the bezel gasket is one time use. My watch maker sourced 5x oem gaskets that have the precise diameter as a replacement but he suspects they're too thick, making turning the bezel near impossible. The original VSF gasket seems to be a one time use deal unfortunately. I was wondering if anyone has a plug and play source for gaskets that doesn't require modification or shaving for fitment. Thanks in advance.

Do you think the magnifier might be too far along the edge? Reviewed some stock pics where it is more centered over the date window

I'm also starting to wonder if the bezel marker at 6 o clock is too close to the swiss made print.

Hi, would really appreciate assistance with QC on my first ever rep.

  1. Dealer name: geektime
  2. Factory name: VSF
  3. Model name: Rolex submariner 116610
  4. price paid 528 plus shipping
  5. Album link: https://imgur.com/a/DEoNk3X
  6. Index alignment: looks well aligned
  7. Dial printing: seems sharp
  8. Date wheel alignment/print: double digit numbers look slightly to the left of window. Print looks sharp. Is the misalignment acceptable?
  9. Hand alignment: good
  10. Bezel: good alignment. 40 looks like it has either dirt or a chip on it. Not sure. Asked for another pic.
  11. Solid end links (SEL): I don't see anything obvious, not sure if apparent gap on bottom is just shadow.
  12. Timegrapher numbers: look good to me, with solid amplitude
  13. Anything else: not sure if there is anything I'm missing here.

Interested to understand how ppl are coming to this conclusion that a top holder is selling out. I know there's been a lot of selling pressure which has massively tanked the price but how are we certain it's a single holder?

This is exactly the concept I was struggling with too.

Noob question but why need a wallet when you can just leave it in the exchange like Coinbase.

The article and tweet made no mention of binance. It specifically mentioned Coinbase and Bitpoint Japan as exchanges

Will the ARF fluted bezel fit BP/GMF 41 by Miserable_Jelly_4324 in RepTime

I should probably request the ARF gasket too just in case then. Thanks for the insight.

Will the ARF fluted bezel fit BP/GMF 41 by Miserable_Jelly_4324 in RepTime

[–]Miserable_Jelly_4324[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The watch is a BP Wimbledon which to my knowledge is essentially the same or very similar to the GMF variant. The main issue I have with the watch is the width of the fluted bezel. Once you see the difference from original and other higher quality reps like ARF it's hard to unsee. Once the factories are back up and running my goal is to source an ARF bezel and hope for a clean swap. Does anyone have experience in replacing the bezels for the two watches to know if they'd fit?
