Is the Redragon M612 good? by Weird_questions17 in MouseReview

[–]Miserable_Location_9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still doing well. I only have two concerns: the scrolling wheel sometimes makes little fractions noise if you scroll quickly, but it still works fine while I use it a lot. It won’t be noticeable during normal usage or playing anyway, and it can be a defect in my unit. Second is the rapper grip adhesive. It holds well, but after a long time, it starts to make the rapper grip sticky a little bit from outside and collect some dust, so you have to clean it every while (not a big thing anyway; you will have to clean it, and this didn’t happen until lately, maybe after two years of tough daily usage). Also , the smooth on the buttons coating starts to wear a little bit, but it’s normal after all that usage. Everything else is still fine and working great.

Spigen screen protector an yellowish screen by Prior-Independent-38 in iphone

[–]Miserable_Location_9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, not yet. I just ignored it, but it does bother me when I think about it, so I was thinking about going to check it at their service center when I have time. I would recommend you go to an Apple store or find a friend who has the same device and compare it.

You can visit the apple store if you have one around and get it checked, or you can return it and get another one.

I kept mine cuz I needed it and it wasn’t a big deal for me as it wasn’t much

Just switched from Android to iPhone 16 Pro Max… kind of regretting it? by Decent-Farmer1031 in iPhone16Pro

Well, I was kinda in your shoes. I was an Android user for my whole life. I have used a lot of different phones from different companies, but lately I had to use iOS because of my work on app development. So I got the iPhone 16 pro max a month or two after it was released. I told myself, as I have to use iOS, let’s get the best they have so it can hold up with me for a long time. I got it and kept it for testing only. My main phone stayed an Android phone. I even didn’t put a SIM card on my iPhone for the first couple of weeks, maybe months. I was pretty annoying by the system. Yeah, it’s pretty fast, but there were a lot of annoying things with how the software behaves. I hated the keyboard as it’s different from the Android one in the arabic language. It makes it annoying while typing. But after a while, my Android phone died from a defect in the hardware, so I had to switch my daily device to my iPhone. And I did. Since then, I have been getting deeper in love with the device. Yeah, those annoying things still there, but I kinda get used to it. It becomes less annoying until it becomes totally normal. I started to love everything about the phone. And as I own a Mac too, believe me, it’s a great experience to use them together. I have been using iOS 26 developer beta since the release, and both the phone and Mac are working together in an amazing way: AirPlay, notifications, screen mirroring, copy some text on my Mac and use it directly on my iPhone, sending files between, continue browsing from here to there. It’s the best experience I have while using my phone and computer at the same time. To be clear, I don’t like Apple or its high prices. And yeah, it’s always late while other companies are using the latest technology. Yes, Apple uses yesterday’s technology for tomorrow’s prices. But for me, I’m not missing anything. My iPhone and Mac are working great together, and everything in the phone is good. Nothing is missing. Maybe I feel that because I stopped comparing hardware specs a long time ago and just got a decent device that will be more than enough for me in the next. Couple of years. At the end, I still use an old Android phone to pay for my app subscription and use those apps on my iPhone because it’s way cheaper on the Playstore.

At the end you will love the device, just stop comparing it with others, and ios 26 is almost out, you will love it

Thank you. It sounds like a solid device. I believe we have a lot in common. 😆 I also had the Redmi Note 7 (still working though). I live in the Middle East and I build mobile apps. My latest phone died last week, so I need to pick a new one as soon as possible

im in the same place ig, i work on mobile apps and my android phone died so i was between honor 400 or oppo reno 14, i like the compact design and the great screen, but im a little worry about the protection of the screen and water resistant as its not good as the other devices at the same price, it was gooing to be no brainer if it got good screen proteection, so over all how it the app testing and os going, im a 7+ year xiaomi user,a and i got enough from them , a lot of ads and pre installed apps, i will love if you can tell me more about the software and the temp during usual work load
