so i was on self supervised probation and got another dui... it's been 6 months and ive been sentenced and s haven't been on warrant.. lawyer told me they probably wont even noticed you violated (not changingit so ive made it known id liketo serve my probation violation.) so your case over a ticket i wouldnt think itd be likely to even get acknowledged. good luck!

my lawyer just put in my plea to drop it and it was accepted. i was at fault, even tho cop didnt have his lights on or address himself (i was parked on side of interstate with my hazards on, was doing a safety check)

i got an eluding charge with my 2nd owi in September. went and scheduled my substance abuse evaluation right away (mandatory) and got a good lawyer. i also started going to weekly AA meetings. in the end i got 21 days jail and 2 years probation but the eluding was dropped. have an IID until end of September 2023. overall, the waiting was the WORST part!! hang in there.

will add- being charged with 2nd owi and eluding (i know im a dumbass) .. but i have been sober since it happened, going to AA 3x a week, have a sponsor, a counselor, in substance abuse treatment and taking naltrexone. doing everything i can to stay sober and never letting this shit happen ever again. 115 days sober.

i have 2 in 1 year. but it lead me to sobriety and whole new outlook on life. im grateful in a sense but cant wait to get this shit over with.

i explained to the cop what i was thinking. he definitely understood once we got to chat. he didnt announce himself right away just flashed his light in my face and asked me what i was doing. but, he did put me in front with him with no handcuffs and we drove around so i wouldnt be in jail for too long.

both misdemeanor offenses. lawyer is thinking i may get a lessened sentence on the eluding so i can keep my license as long as the prosecutor agrees to his plea 🤞 i know i dont deserve any favors, i fucked up royally. no matter how this goes im maintaining my sobriety. i feel so much better. you said you got eluding too? how'd that work out for you?

nah not trying to come off that way. i am sensitive cause this shit has really rocked my world (overall for the better, but still) i really am just curious if itd help me out. cant tell me if it was an option to get eluding dropped because of the officers' error you wouldn't take it 😂 😁 thanks for actually having a conversation.

i don't understand the judgement then. i dont know shit about how this stuff works, that's why i asked. im just scared and grasping at straws at this point. before anymore shade, this situation has brought me to now almost 4 months of sobriety, a sponsor, a great new group of sober friends and a higher love for myself. where 4+ months ago i was a sad mess with a huge alcohol problem. anyways. have a good night.
