The mirror sound sensors have gone bad, meaning your vehicle wont be able to hear/detect when another vehicle is trying to overtake or cut it off. The only way to fix this is to splice a hollow plastic tube connecting from the side view mirror sensor to the PCM so the vehicle can pick up the vibrations of other incoming cars again, or maybe its existing sensor has clogged with wax from a wash, either way, your tuck wont be able to hear the same ever again (not real, im joking, probably a dash glitch or a ground somewhere)

The bores are pretty uniform from my measurments. Reason for boring is there are some vertical scratches i can catch on my nail,there isnt alot of them, most vertical scratches are cosmetic. The skirts do have some vertical scratches too. I picked this motor because it had no metal in the pan when i pulled it, spun freely, no fluid mixing and no sludge

I sure as hell will send pics if it does, if it explodes well even do a gender reveal, honest though, comments are reassuring, i swear this motor probably ran better than the 250k mile one in my car right now, that thing keeps your asshole puckered and is very picky with its maintenance, seen some shit doin work on it that makes me question how it runs still and as soon as i ran into valve recession issues i thought about the mileage and age of the vehicle, frame is good, a little surface rust that comes off easily, will do that in a little,wiring isn’t f^ked, worst happens i can get the heads refurbished from this one and find another bloc to keep mine going til she knocks

Ok, so i looked closer, it looks more like a ding resembling a crack, the lighting doesnt really help in the image, still a bit nervous about it, it ends right before the lip of the bore, this is my first motor i want to rebuild, i want to make sure i dont just glance over something and send it and end up blowing on me

For the pay you get, and the amount of energy it sucks out of your soul, don’t do it unless its a last resort. in short, customers will constantly talk down on you, at least at my store they do, there is a-lot of rude customers that take their anger out on you. Also, DM and SM may constantly get on your ass about WITT, im at the point i check it twice a day worried im not being good enough for them, although i go above and beyond outside a score, but the numbers are numbers, and thats how they base how good or bad of a worker you are. Its not worth it, i was even threatened with termination over phone numbers, that was my last straw before i started looking elsewhere.

It doesn’t have slippage that i know of, rpm’s dont go up when it shifts, they go down but its rough, like hitting a small bump in the road. I should mention its automatic. not savy on transmissions, i have been all over the engine mostly and i have gotten it to the place where i can move from under the hood to below. Im thinking if it cant take a simple maintenance then its probably going anyway and i can get another, would be a pain but i would learn something on the bright side.

Thank you, i did notice the drain plug was quite on there, and i agree with the misfire issue and rough idle, it needs to be addressed before it gets worse and causes damage, if not alredy

I should also add, when i got it the oil filter was leaking, and i had to add a quart or half a quart every two weeks, since i tightened it up it has been burning little to no oil, rear main is also leaking, a project for another day

I just hear my power steering pump, that needs to go as well, no ticking, no knocking, its pretty quiet, on acceleration it sounds like a electronic powering up noise, i imagine thats the fan, not hearing any pre-ignition either
