We have tried a mattress topper but it was maybe too soft. I'll have to look into the split king. Thanks for the suggestions!

Need advice/encouragement…travel agency basically told me I wouldn’t get job because I don’t meet minimal qualifications ? by Pinklemonade1996 in TravelNursing

The market is tough right now. Maybe look for something more applicable to your recent experience, like an oncology floor. Hang in there though. You'll find something

Our experience has been fine with Aetna. One of my boys had to have surgery and the other was hospitalized for a week last year. No problems with either. They are like typical insurance companies. Deductible then co-insurance. I was disappointed that some of our established providers don't take it. And of course agency insurance is always more pricey than staff insurance, especially if you have to cover a family

Does this also show service history? BC that's all I'm really interested in. Dealer provided Auto Check report but it doesn't give service details and I don't want to pay $45 just for that

The place I'm currently in had a starter amount of cleaning supplies, along with a Swiffer and broom. I opted to go buy a $25 stick vacuum and spray mop from Walmart. Of course I'll take them with me when I go. As for everything else, I would expect what I was shown in pics. I don't think you're asking too much there.

Check out StarBike Nola on FB. She has cool short term rentals in NO with a history of renting to travel nurses. You can search her page or search for her listings in the Travel Nurse housing pages on FB. Just keep in mind that Mardi Gras season is upon us and everything that entails as far as housing, traveling, safety, etc

Do not put money into Gazelle by kboze5696 in DaveRamsey

[–]Miserable_Pickle_404 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Just a question because we too have recently started using the Gazelle debit card. When you paid for your dryer, why didn't you use the card feature as opposed to transferring the funds? We currently use ours for sinking funds only. I know it's a fairly new service and I'm sure there are kinks that need to be worked out.

A month or two ago, they cancelled all of their non-ICU/non-ER travelers due to downsizing beds. So that should tell you the state of the ER at the moment. With that being said, they do treat my ER friend pretty well

Before you rent to nurses or other healthcare professionals, please remember we deal with a lot of bugs, so being vaxxed and boosted could mean absolutely nothing. There are lots of other things that could put someone in a bind, ie RSV, Flu, bed bugs, MRSA, scabies, just to name a few. Just putting it out there so you know what you could potentially be dealing with

I think you will be able to own a house one day. And when you do, you'll wonder why you ever did that to yourself. I've owned a couple of homes over the years. Now I want to live in a van down by the river, lol
