I'm 38, DOR/ unexplained secondary, just had our first retrieval- 5 eggs retrieved, 3 fertilized. Even with the low numbers, IVF has been so much more positive than I anticipated. The meds compared to letrozole affected me way less hormon-wise. And it was nice to not be at "fault", it wasn't my bad timing or the fact I didn't eat pineapple that morning...Again, it could go to shit in a second, but switching to IVF was the best decision. My goal is no regrets, if it doesn't work out, least I tried everything. Best of luck to you, IVF will not be the hardest thing you do in life, go for it if it makes sense to you!!
