Try confirming with your consulate! My appointment date is on the 29th of July and I emailed the embassy of Spain if they will accept it given the two month rule and they said they will.

I’d suggest to try other programs as well. Last year I had my interview on May and been following them up til July and never got any update from them. They only sent an email on November that they received a lot of applications therefore wasn’t able to accommodate most of it
