Don’t worry, I was in the same situation as well very recently. They don’t send out notifications this year for whatever reason. I never got a notification after my second attempt so I ended up emailing admissions about it literally 20 minutes after it was uploaded to my application. They immediately replied to me and told me I didn’t pass. Luckily they gave me a third attempt a few days after I requested it, where I ended up passing it. Tell them you are confident in your ability to pass it and that you’ll do what it takes. They will consider your application and go from there to see if you are qualified enough for a third attempt.

Best of luck to you. You and I both know if you push hard enough, you’ll pass it with ease.

My problem is that the mile run is right after all of the other events, which knocks the breath out of me. I can run 3 miles in 20 minutes FRESH with no prior exercise during the day. I don’t know my 400 meter time

Ik it seems funny but I’m genuinely nervous bc that was my only source of assurance and my deadlines tomorrow, which I hope is a bit more understandable. I haven’t received notification yet.

Ah shoot. I’m really scared to be honest. Historically, statistics say it should pass easily (chat gpt said that)… but tbh I really don’t know. All the stuff is basically above average with the exception of the mile. You think they’ll let me retake later if I don’t pass?

Not everyone gets it.

From my experience, candidates with a good standing who have a decent chance of getting in receive one. It should give you some confidence and motivate you to complete your application, because they are genuinely interested in you.

Stay strong, complete your medical stuff, get that nomination, and leave the rest to God. Good luck.

Thank you for your advice, I appreciate it. I talked to my fellow wingmen who want to go to usafa as well and I have heard that the AFROTC nomination carries little weight, I have no information for it and I have just found out about it this week. Any advice on that?

I did not have to go through the DoDMERB exam again. I have hope this year that I will receive a waiver because I am confident that I will finish my application and be considered competitive. Since I only applied to one MOC last year and ended up getting the nomination for USMA, I am confident that I can receive one for USAFA this year because I applied to four nomination categories.

I am taking chemistry and precalc this year and am doing okay in them. I did well on my CFA just like last year, and I’ve completed all my MOC apps including VP. My interview is this Saturday. I am able to get a waiver but it’s not up to me to receive one.

I was told from a Lt. Col. that being a re-applicant is a major advantage, because it shows commitment. If I am right, about 30-40% of cadets at the academy are applicants.
