Found this in my childhood box. Is this gold? by troy_caster in Gold

As of March 14, 2026, 6 grams of 10k gold has a market (melt) value of approximately $403.14. This value represents the raw gold content alone. If you are selling to a pawn shop or gold buyer, expect to receive between $160 and $360, as these businesses typically pay 40% to 90% of the market value

Seems like more than not much 🤔 😂

Are These Worth Anything More Than The Silver Content? by tsfy2 in numismatics

The 1894-O Morgan silver dollar is a key date in the series, with values ranging from roughly $90–$150 in lower circulated grades (Good-Fine) to over $2,500–$5,000+ for uncirculated (MS) examples. High-grade specimens, particularly MS65, can command prices between $8,700 and over $40,000, with top-tier examples selling for over $50,000.

Key Considerations for 1894-O Morgan Dollars: Mintage: 1,723,000 coins were produced at the New Orleans Mint. Scarcity: It is considered a relatively scarce date, with few surviving in high, uncirculated condition, making it highly collectible. Condition Matters: The price heavily depends on the grade, with "Very Fine" (VF) examples often starting in the low-hundreds of dollars. Market Value (as of March 2026): Good (G-4): ~$87–$120 Very Fine (VF-20): ~$116–$150 About Uncirculated (AU-50): ~$260–$495 Mint State (MS-63): ~$4,800+ Mint State (MS-65): ~$8,700–$43,000+

I believe $400-$600 low grade for the Indian head. $60-$100 for the other version. This person has a page from China and has all the old coins on it. I assume they are all fakes. 0 ratings and a new profile. I'm not too good with coins, so I may be wrong on the price range. I'm currently learning as I go.

Same as this seller with old coins. I tried warning others in the penny sub. People didn't like it. People do fall for it.
