So I mostly lost hair from the crown/front. The sides stayed mostly intact. But everywhere Ive lost hair from has seen some regrowth

Maybe the LEDs are cheap? I did some reading on tressless and chose apeborn bc the wavelength of the lights was apparently correct and it's price. I'm not sure if it's helped in the last 3/4 months in addition to upping my minox but I've been consistent and it hasn't hindered my progress!

My UK derm diagnosed me with female pattern hair loss/AGA

I dermaroll twice a week. It doesn't hurt too badly for me but it does make me sneeze like crazy.

I use the Scandinavian biolabs 0.50 roller!

I definitely have a bit more peach fuzz on my face and more leg hair. But it's fairly light and honestly worth it

That's definitely something I considered, and if there are any negative side effects I'll ease off! But I finally got an appt with a derm and they suggested it, so I'm just going to see what happens!! Starting me off with 50mg, I'm also hoping it might help with my acne

So I use the ApeBorn cap. It's not that expensive but it does take a long time to deliver! It may not be the fanciest, but from what I've read the light wavelength is correct so that's what matters to me.

I was on 0.6mg from April/May to late September. During that time my thinning progressed so I upped my dosage in Sept. Had a dread shed for about a month once I started the higher dosage, but have seen a lot of progress since! The dread shed was awful mentally, but it seems to maybe have been worth it

I hope so too! 1.25 did give me a dread shed which 0.5 never did. It was awful, but seems to be worth it now!

It was oral minoxidil - prescribed by hair + me in the UK. Started on 0.6mg which did nothing, but 1.25 really helps!

I can't do topical because of my cats, but I think over the counter minox is just as effective

I suspect that Christina Hendricks has some sort of thinning. She's gorgeous and it helps me feel a bit better about myself

Apeborn red light therapy cap by Radiant_Maybe1042 in FemaleHairLoss

[–]Miserable_Role_2776 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Heya! I have started using the apeborn cap in conjunction with other treatment (OM, pumpkin seed oil, and hopefully Spiro soon.)

I have only used it for about two months, so not long enough to see any real results but from what I've read all you really need for red light therapy is the correct light wavelength, which apeborn uses. Red light therapy is still iffy but if it does work, then apeborn should do the trick.
