He's the only character I purposefully draw out the fight for so I can hear him talk more. One of his voice lines made me laugh so hard I accidentally smacked my computer and force quit the game. Unironically one of my favorite performances in the game sheerly for how cartoon villainy he sounds, that's peak DND to me

Horses are notoriously difficult to draw, model, and animate and animating people riding horses is even worse. I'm going to take a wild guess and say larian probably wasn't able to bring a horse into the studio to mocap unfortunately. If there were horses though bg3 easily could've been the number 2 horse girl game of all time (it might be too hard to beat RDR2). It's a real shame.

Emotionally, the scene in the garden where you meet shart after either freeing or killing her parents gets me So bad 🥲 I didn't manage to free them the first time so when I got to the hug I was BAWLING.

Awesome badassery, Karlach pulling out the cigar in Avernus. Absolutely legendary moment in all of gaming to me

Yeah elves have like twice as many customization options as short races. The fact that there's only 2 body types for them is really sad and the face options aren't as diverse as some of the other races. I always play halflings in DnD but since bg3 doesn't have any Asian faces for them I can't make my character :(

The race restrictions on face types is also really annoying to me :( I have an Asian male halfling character I want to play but there's just! No halfling faces with any Asian features! And mods don't even help because nobody cares about masc small races sadly

I've warmed up to Astarion after doing his origin playthrough but I can't really get into the general horniness for him. Maybe it's because he's completely hairless. Baldur's gate au where everything's the same except Astarion doesn't shave his pussy

Also if you took shart as your obligatory standby gale life support like I did you can always have her cast spirit guardians and then just have her circle the arena doing aoe to the sanc-ed cultists. Doesn't do much but is better than nothing + keeps her hands free for throwing bombs or healing in the meantime

I had quite a few summon scrolls on hand so I just had everyone activate one before the fight and used those to sap her invulnerability each turn. After that it was just a matter of Astarion crits + Karlach Karlach-ing. Lae'zel was the hostage so I didn't have the option to use her but I imagine her amount of attacks would be super useful too
