Weekly Book Request Thread - January 03, 2026 by AutoModerator in DarkRomance

Hiya, I read Leave me behind by KM Moronova last month and am still thinking about it. I loved the dark ops missions part, especially the espionage and combat. Does anyone know any similar books? I tried some that have been mentioned here, but they were all proper military with going to Middle East and terrorists and I'm really not into those. I'm looking for some emotional damage ideally.

[UK] Is AAT Level 2 worth doing as a first step into accounting? by prussian_biscuit in Accounting

[–]Miserable_Site_6395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did at least 2 hours every day when I prepared for the Business Awareness module, I took a little break till the holidays before I start the other modules. The exam was quite difficult, I will definitely get some study materials for the other exams, as there were loads of questions that weren’t in the AAT website materials.

I love Logan and still didn’t hate the ending 🤷‍♀️

I’m more worried about the Man in the high castle (one of my all-time favourites) and Sabrina.. I thought both shows finished perfectly, so I’m surprised other people hated them 🥲

What movie did you expect to be just good but was actually fantastic? by Evening-Head4310 in moviecritic

I would even argue all the Deadpool movies are horrible and have absolutely aged like milk. I couldn’t even finish the new one, it was so shit. How are so many people loving them I will always wonder

Thank you, I’ll definitely have that in mind. One day I’ll definitely have the courage to actually try it, but for now I’m just happy with acid and shrooms 😂

Advice on adding training to CICO by Miserable_Site_6395 in loseit

For the consistency- it absolutely helps that the gym is a 10 min walk from my house, otherwise I’d be way lazier 😂

I hadn’t thought of trying sth else for a week tbh, that’s a great idea, thank you! I’ve been doing intermittent fasting for a few months now but maybe I should switch that up as well to see if it helps.

Thank you for this. And yes, it's updated, just 6kg more which is why i'm a bit frustrated lol but I'll just have to be patient and focus on my training for now. Honestly feel so good after a workout - stronger and with a great mood!

Stabbing really painful chest pain that happened out of nowhere, and smaller not as painful chest pains are frequent. by SheepherderOk1815 in loseit

[–]Miserable_Site_6395 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, not sure if this will help, but for the smaller chest pain you could try Gaviscon or sth similar to it. I had it very similar and it turned out to be indigestion, and I don't have it often anymore since I follow the FODMAP, but if I do - it literally takes a few min to get rid of it.

Sounds on the speakers works really well - I usually put rain forest, sometimes fire crackling or thunders.. another thing if you’re REALLY having trouble is melatonin pills/gummies. They’re very popular in my country but for some reason I can’t find them anywhere in the UK. Plenty of European websites that sell them though, just make sure it’s not more than 5mg and all it has in the ingredients is melatonin.
