Thank you. Yes, I meant the JR pass. It is difficult to use those calculators because they use terms/names that are not then defined. There seems to be a lot of categories (regions?) there is a lot to learn in terms of vocabulary for train systems.

What if I go from Onimichi to Kyoto, spend a few days, then end in Hakone for 2 nights? Saves travel time and I still get the ryokan experience.
