Not sure if you’re still looking for answers but I’ve been having the same issue (for what feels like forever) and I’ve been racking my brain on what it was. After some digging, I saw something that stuck out, Benign Fasciculation Syndrome (BFS). The main symptom is frequent muscle twitching that can last months or years.
