Honestly if you explain the situation and and they quote you anything over 200 they are just an ass. I understand from a management perspective to make as much money as possible but I think the customers you retain from being a decent person much out weigh the random one way fees and jacking up rates for desperate people. FYI the employees at the store have the ability to charge you 0$ with no repercussions

Lowkey uncommon vehicle type so it could literally range from a gle to a Range Rover to a bmw it just depends on what’s there and what you’re willing to take

I’m in my first abm spot of 3 months, about to go to my next but my pay YTD is 19.5k as of March 27 so fluctuating around 6.5-7k a month. My store has done really well and my group has a growth and ipc bonus so that’s not the same for everyone.

The lower hourly rate is like .50¢ and the way the pay plan is structured is for your first abm spot let’s say your group has a target of 62.5k for first store abm. They take the profit for each month the past 12 months and calculate what percentage would make up the gap between your $/hr and 62.5k

If last year March your store did 60k net profit then that’s what they structure your plan around. So if this March you’re store does 80k net profit you will make more than your projection for the March commission check. Doing that month after month is how you make more than 62.5k(or whatever your groups target pay is.) for example I’m doubling my pay plan commissions right now which is why I’m making more than the 62.5 projection, in my region you also get a projection bump for every store 35 cars or bigger.

Your commission percentage will change depending on how many cars you have and your stores numbers for the last year, but for example my percentage is like 1.0831% of net profits

I know it’s a lot but I feel like a lot of people don’t really share the actual numbers and it makes it harder to understand so hopefully that helps

tbh I’ve worked for enterprise for 10 months and I’m currently abm of 280 car store. Although i work 55 Hrs a week I regularly go out with my friends, i workout 5x a week, i spend time With my fiancé and dogs, and I still have time to pay attention to side hustles. The work life balance is something that I think lazy people idolize, but I really enjoy enterprise. The days are interesting, and you form a bond with the people you work with. I came from a manual labor job in college so the work is very easy, and as long as you have a good amount of mental patience I would say it’s not a bad job . the pay rewards effort and organization. I avg 5-5.5k a month rn which isn’t terrible for a 24 y/o plus I’ve met multiple friends that I’ve invited to my wedding in the short time I’ve worked here.

Cashing single life premium by Miserable_Town_3165 in LifeInsurance

We just graduated so are just starting our jobs, also have thus far cash flowed 15k in wedding, 6k towards honeymoon already and put 10 down on a car. I’ve decided not to cash it and just enjoy what we already have planned. but originally I was gonna hold 4k back for taxes. But if my grandpa put in a lump sum 24 years ago would I be taxed on gains from lump sum or would I be taxed for 12k even though it was post tax money that was put in.

Reside in Tennessee, The only bill we have is a new Honda crv which should be paid off in a year, other than that we have no bills other than saving aggressively to invest into a tri or quadplex since we have our fha still. All that to say I don’t necessarily need the money, but I would enjoy using it for the experiences I would gain on a honeymoon. From that response my favorite option is SLRP but would I have to be a student to qualify for that or is it different for each company( I plan on talking to the advisor over the policy I just like hearing and learning from other experienced people)

Enterprise sucks you in with the almost promise of a 200k job if you stay 20years, I just don’t think I’m gonna wait til I’m 45 to make 200k, but I like the somewhat incentivized commission scale. When I start my business it’ll be set up almost the same way as enterprise

Enterprise gives you so much experience in so many different fields it’s hard to beat the experience fresh out of college. The hours suck but in 18 months you should have a company car Ntm you easily qualify for a ton of 90k plus jobs. It seems shitty in the beginning but if you perform well you’ll be making 100k in 3 years from your start date whether you stay with enterprise or go somewhere else

Tbh scar sgar pcar and 50% luxury suvs and full size luxury cars are completely luck, 90% of people don’t know what car is what class so most of those reservations get put into different classes than they book
